You are engaged! Now what??? The third suggestion might surprise you!
1st – You should always set your date. Maybe include a couple of options in case you end up running into problems during suggestion #3.
2nd – Figure out your guest list. This will help you determine your venue, costs for the caterer, decorating needs, etc.
3rd – and most importantly. SET YOUR PRIORITIES!!! Okay, I wanna go into detail on this section. I have seen a lot of vendors talk about how important it is to book “x.” Really, you need to figure out what is the best for you and your significant other. If you want the most bomb DJ, book them first! If you need a good, organized planner – book, book, book. If you value flowers above everything in the wedding book your florist first!
Do not let someone make you feel like you have to book vendors in a certain order. Set your priorities and go from there.
