Hey ya’ll! Another #sermonsunday from this lil’ florist!
Some of you might question why I even spend the time creating a sermon Sunday series and my simple response is: I create for my creator from his creation! (LOL)
Aka, everything in my business is already his – my words might as well be too!
Today’s sermon is again from Veritas Christian Church out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We are still in our 1st Corinthians Series. We studied specifically from 1st Corinthians 13.
If anyone has studied this particular chapter before – they know that it is labeled the “love” chapter. All about love. How fitting right? I think most people would shoot for MORE love in their lives (probably not less).
According to Jake Each (Pastor), “If we don’t know our way through problems, we will look for a way out.”
Ug, been there done that. How many times have I wanted to quit something instead of seeing it through? Especially relationally. My marriage is a perfect example. There are so many failed marriages in the world – and I could totally see how the easier route could be give up and move on. (I know there are exceptions, but I am using this as an example).
Evil really wants us to lose. The devil really wants our relationships, our careers, our world to fall apart. Luckily, the way through our struggles is love. Rejoicing in truth, being patient, being kind to those are kind and unkind back is how we prevail!
Now, that is easier said than done – for sure, but this week think about how am I being a child of LOVE? (Because God is love).
1 John 4:8
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
