Hey all!
Every Thursday I am trying to teach ya’ll more about me. Well, today I wanna brag a bit about my flower garden!
Ug, I love my flower garden. For those of you that do not know, Beautifully Bloomed has a pretty extensive garden. We sit on 2.5 acres. About 1/5th acre is annuals. An annual, if you remember, is a flower that only yields one time and then it’s done. Some examples of annuals are: snap dragons, sweet peas, ranunculus, anemone, eucalyptus, and more.
A perennial, on the other hand, is a bush that continues to bloom each and every year. We have about a 1/2 acre plot of perennials. Examples of perennials are: roses, peonies, tulips and so on.
I am sure you have already figured out that I LOVE my role in the wedding industry – but I am continuing trying to shed positive light on fresh, local flowers.
This year, we are adding quite a bit to our garden. We are adding 100 more rose bushes, hopefully 300 more peonies, 100 more dahlias, then we are tripling our anemone, ranunculus, basil, and lisianthus production.
Here are some pictures of our product as well as a small sketch of our layout on the flower farm. I hope to one day allow visitors, but with the current situation – we will have to wait a bit for that.

Let me know if you have anything you’d like me to grow. 🙂
