Today I wanted to chat about the 3 main questions you should ask your wedding florist after you book. There are other questions, of course, but these are the main 3.
- What should I expect next? Right after you book, make sure you ask what’s next on their floral journey to stay on top of your planning. Some florists might not have anything for yah, but some might ask you to fill them in as they are speaking with other vendors. Make sure you ask so you are on the same page leading up to the wedding.
- Do you have a timeline for me to follow? That being said, your florist should give you a rough idea what to expect next. This might be an email, this might be when your next payment is due. Regardless – you are going to want some rough estimates on the major “milestones” that you will need to be aware of.
- What does communication look like from now until the wedding? My favorite question! There are some florists who will say “see you at the wedding day.” This leaves you thinking like you are not valued. Ask them what communication will look like. Will the florist reach out for the final consult or is that something expected of you? Is it okay to send questions when they arise or should you wait for that final consult?
