Ahh floral budgets…. one of the biggest questions I get. Florals can be so difficult to throw an “average” but in this blog post… I am going to try an give you a decent average.
- In a smaller, intimate wedding – florals can range from $2,000 – $3,500. When I mention a smaller wedding I am thinking a small wedding party (less than 3 people per side) and up to 100 guests, limited bouts/ corsage offerings, simple ceremony set ups and table arrangements. Again, the range can be depending on what type of floral centerpieces, how many people you wish to give boutonnieres, etc etc.
- In a medium sized wedding – florals can range from $4,000 – $6,500. This can be a wedding party under 8 people per side and up to 200 guests. Maybe asymmetrical arch pieces, aisle décor, flowers on half of your guest tables and the head table. If you only need greenery on the tables then the number might be lower but if you are looking for a large, significant centerpiece option on each table… then the number might be higher.
- In a large sized wedding – florals can range from $8,000 +. This wedding party might be 10+ people per side and over 300 guests. This is the “WOW” factor. Maybe this looks like a distinct ceremony floral arch, a hanging piece, and/or tall arrangements/lush centerpieces at each table.
These are the averages that I have noticed for here in the Midwest for wedding florals. There is a lot that can further differentiate the numbers that I am giving.
Hopefully this helped!
