Floral Spotlight – Roses!

Roses – you either love them or you are sick of them.

I still love them (and I think I will forever).

You can buy roses everywhere so this floral spotlight will be perfect for those of you who want to know what to do with roses straight from the grocery store.

First, I like to snip off their ends, remove any thorns and put them in clean water. Then I open up their petals by sticking my finger between the outside petal and the second most outside petal. I pull gently to open up the flower a bit. This creates a gardenesque look that I love.

If you need any more clarification – feel free to watch this video below!

Happy rose hunting!

It’s about more than hiring someone to hold a create a bouquet and a few centerpieces. Wedding floral design is about carefully crafting and capturing the beauty of you and your significant other in a way that beautifully tells the story of your love.
