Hello all! Kathryn from Beautifully Bloomed here 🙂 I was hoping to start a series all about what to expect from wedding professionals.
Many people understand the basic service we provide – but often it is much more than that.
Today we have the fabulous Megan and Joe from Forever Green Studio! Check out their interview below

It’s ALL about the Experience:
When you work with us, it’s important that we deliver more than just beautiful images. Our goal to make sure you also have a stress-free and fun-filled day! We do this by helping you create a wedding day timeline and keeping things (and people!) on track on the day of. We’ll watch the clock so you don’t have to! When you’re relaxed, your photos will reflect that.
We’re with you every step of the wedding day, helping pin boutonnieres, carry bouquets and fluffing the dress. We’ll help decide where the best spots for photos are and direct you on what to do. We always love to hear your creative ideas, but if you don’t want to think about it, we’ll do the thinking and deciding for you!
You’ll spend more time with your photographer than any other vendor on your wedding day, so it’s important to hire a team that can take beautiful images, stay positive, and keep the day running smoothly!
Two is Better Than One:
Two photographers with two viewpoints for your wedding day! Having shot over 100 weddings as a team, our balanced, energetic, better together, husband and wife dynamic is sure to give you confidence in front of the camera. It doesn’t hurt that we can divide and conquer as well. When one of us is capturing the big moments, the other can focus on what’s happening behind the scenes.
As an added bonus, we can pose together to show you what we’re thinking for the next photo. We’ve found our couples are visual learners, and seeing the pose in real time is super helpful!
Natural AND Artificial Light Photographers:
While we’re all hoping for perfect weather on your wedding day, the Midwest is notoriously finicky. But don’t stress! We’ve got the know how to get the best lighting in any scenario. We will utilize the beautiful natural light if it’s available, but in the event we need to photograph indoors, we have lighting equipment to help brighten a room while still looking soft and natural.
By the time your reception starts, odds are it’s going to be dark outside. We will utilize our lighting equipment to ensure your first dance, speeches and dance party are lit properly. It’s important to hire a photographer who has the technical skills to shoot in any lighting scenario!
Thank you Megan and Joe! You can learn more about EVERYTHING they offer on their website!
